In Memory Of...

Megan, we miss you so much. I miss you're beautiful face, smile, laugh, everything!!.. I still cant believe ur gone!! I wish u were here with us. We all miss u girl u always had people laughing and smiling.

Well today has been 2 months since your accident friday will be 2 months since you passed away we miss you so bad i know i will see you one day soon but that does not make things better you are so missed by so many megan im so lucky to have you the 19 years we had you but i would bring you home if i could i would trade places with you  in a heart beat  we love you with all our hearts baby see you again one day.

I know you don't know me but I know Mike and Georgia and their family.  When Georgia told me about Megan I was heartbroken for your whole family.  I ask my church family to pray for your family and I have been praying for you as well.  I cannot imagine the loss of a child.  However, I do know God had this in His plan before she was even born.  We cannot help but ask when someone so young passes away.  He knows why and we must remember that He is in control. 

I live in Cape Cod Massachusetts and my son lost a very dear friend the same way.  Amber was an avid horseback rider and had won many awards at horse shows.  Six months ago she was at the horse farm jumping with her horse preparing for a show the next weekend.  She was galloping, preparing for a jump.  Like Megan, she lost her balance and the saddle slid sideways causing her head to hit a light pole.  She died the next morning.  The entire community was in shock and devastated by Amber's death.   My son and her boyfriend are best friends and I can honestly say I have never seen 2 boys cry like these kids did.  All of her friends have had such a hard time with this.  As a result of this accident, her friends, with the help of one of her teachers, created a scholarship in her memory.  The scholarship will award $2500 and will be  given to a deserving high school senior each year.  They all feel this will help keep Amber's memory alive as she was also known for her academic excellence.  Our community also raised money by holding benefits to create a walking trail at the farm where Amber rode and died.  Amber was 15-years-old.

I tell you this story because, even though I don't know the loss of a child and I don't directly know your family, I have felt the impact of losing a young person I know and love.  Amber's death has helped me remember to never take life for granted and to show the ones I love how much I love them every single day.    I pray you, as well as Megan's friends, will hold each other close as God heals the heart and helps dry the tears.  I pray that soon your family can think and talk about Megan without tears but with smiles and laughter.  He knows our heart.  He knows our sorrows.  He knows everything we need before we do.

well Megan this will be our first thanksgiveing without you here this will be so hard for us all family friends loves ones and all you were loved by so many words cant describe how much you were loved and always will be in our heart your smile we miss your laugh your love your kindness you happy face all the time i promise you this i am going to go to uncle dougs and aunt debbies for turkey day i will do my best to hold up i know your candle burned out long before your time they say they always take the good ones young i wish i could have went for you angel so you could have had a longer life i guess the LORD needed an perfect angel so he got you he needed that smile in heaven and your help so just watch over me and dad we are haveing a hard time missing you like crazey baby girl well pray for mike also the air wing took him to the hospital for his heart so we need to pray for him also okay ill go for now ill see you later maybe soon babygirl your always in our heart thought and prayers megan

If there were a chance to bring you home i would do anything to bring you back your life was taken so young we all miss you every day goes by your name always comes up you touched so many live let me tell you a few things your family has stood by us like no orther could your friends trey mindy kyle mellisa jessica juice tina and all your college friends and people we dont know that you touched there lives some way some how darling please watch over us here this world is so cruel you are in a much better place i wish i could see you again to tell you i love you and how good you were in your 19 years we had you baby boo i would change places with you if i could so watch over us please .

We are so sorry for your loss.  We loved her to.  But just remember you will see her again and always know that we have an angel watching over all of us.  And she was an angel.  God just had different plans for her that we do not understand.  But some day we all will.  Hold on to God and he will bring you through this heartache.  We love yall and are here for you at anytime.

    Just as the song says I can't imagine what the hurt and lost ya'll must feel

I do not believe we could have loved  Megan any more If she would have been

one of ours. We are talking about a girl that had so much life and joy in her.

there's  very little time that go'es  by that were not remembering the joy that

she shared  with everybody she met. As the pictures all show . If there were

said times she was able to bring joy to it . Just keep remembering who's is

in charge  I know you keep asking why? but just remember God is not going to

give you anything that you can not handle . The lost of Megan  is felt from

both sides of the family Curtis side and Cheryl Side and many friends and I do mean many friends. One could ask why Megan was taken from us so early in life

But then you could wonder why we were so lucky to have her for ninteen years.

When God took this angel from us he took a good one. Which I believe  he had

a plan for her when he loaned her to this family. Just remember were here for

you. And just a phone call away at any given time if its nothing more than a

shoulder to cry on.
